Graduate Program in Design Graduate Program in Design is 4 year Bachelor Degree program to enhance the design skills amongst young students. The first year is the foundation year where students are taught the fundamental of Design and exposure to various design disciplines . From the second year, students will make the choice of a stream for specialized learning. The streams are Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Animation Film Design.
In Graduate Program student is awarded the following :-
Cerificate in Basic Foundation (At the end of first semester)
Certificate in Advanced Foundation (At the end of second semester)
Diploma from Design Institute of India (At the end of the fourth year on successfully clearing all the semester exams)
Degree from UGC Recognised University. (On successfully clearing the University exams)
Admissions are open for 12th pass student from CBSE, MP Board or equivalent to AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE, etc. and/or for those who will be appearing for qualifying examinations in academic year 2011. The upper age limit is 25 years as on July 1st 2011.
Post Graduate Program in Design
Post Graduate Program,at Design Institute of India is a 2 year program to enhance the design skills of students. The first Six months is foundation where students are taught the fundamental of Design and are exposed to various design disciplines. After foundation, students will then choose any one stream from Fashion Design and Animation Film Design for specialized learning.
In Post Graduate Program the Student is awarded the following:-
Certificate in Advanced Foundation. (At the end of first semester)
Diploma from Design Institute of India. (At the end of the second year on successfully clearing all the semester exams)
Admissions are open for the students who are Graduate in any discipline and for ones who will appear for qualifying examinations in academic year 2010.
